With the victory, Patterson Institute improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Lions host Fort Hancock (Fort Hancock, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 16. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Fort Hancock lost 38-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Immanuel Baptist (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Anthony Wildcats (Anthony, TX) in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge, on Saturday, January 3. Fabens will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 57-28 non-league loss to Bethel Temple (El Paso, TX).
