September 17, 2016: Summit, NJ 07091 In Saturday's non-league game, the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) football team were victorious over the visiting Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ), by a score of 30-6.
The Hilltoppers (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ). The Blue Streaks come into the Mid-State 38 - Raritan game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Warren Hills Regional was knocked off by North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ), 38-20, in a non-league game.
The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Scotch Plains-Fanwood for a Mid-State 38 - Watchung game on Friday, September 23. Immaculata will battle a Raiders team coming off a 38-7 league loss to Linden (Linden, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
