The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA) and the visiting East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA), saw Central Valley's volleyball squad beat East Union by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Central Valley upgrades its record to 1-5 on the year. The Hawks host Manteca (Manteca, CA) to play the Buffaloes in a Valley Oak bout on Monday, September 29. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Manteca won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pitman (Turlock, CA)

The Lancers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ceres for a Valley Oak bout on Monday, September 29. East Union will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-9.
