The Griffins (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakewood (Lakewood, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Lakewood was beaten by La Serna (Whittier, CA), 43-19, in a non-league challenge.
The Spirits now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Oaks Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Paraclete will meet a Lions team coming off a 49-17 non-league loss to St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
