Mississippi High School Football - Center Hill routed by West Point
September 28, 2018: Olive Branch, MS 38654 The Center Hill Mustangs football team (Olive Branch, MS), was ripped 41-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS)
The Green Wave (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS). The come into the 5A Region 1 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Lake Cormorant trounced Grenada (Grenada, MS), 30-14, in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saltillo for a 5A Region 1 challenge on Friday, October 5. Center Hill will meet a Tigers team coming off a 48-7 league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.
