December 20, 2013: Hiram, GA 30141 The Sprayberry Yellowjackets (Marietta, GA) basketball nipped the host Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA), 73-69 in Friday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets (9-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Lions go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, St. Pius X Catholic got by Pickens (Jasper, GA), 71-45, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Burke County for a non-league test on Thursday, December 26. Hiram will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 58-43 non-league win over Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Bears record now stands at 4-3.
