Kentucky High School Basketball - Augusta thwarts Williamstown
February 18, 2011: Augusta, KY 41002 The Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY) basketball felled the visiting Williamstown Demons (Williamstown, KY), 70-52 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (10-14) will now prepare for their test against St. Patrick (Maysville, KY). The Saints go into the District 39 test with a 9-16 record. In their last test, St. Patrick defeated West Union (West Union, OH), 61-54, in a non-league test.
The Demons now own a 3-23 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kenton for a District 32 test on Monday, February 21. Williamstown will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 57-50 non-league loss to Holmes (Covington, KY). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-12.
