The Marcus Marauders tipped the visiting La Vega Pirates basketball team by a final score of 40-38 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Marauders now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Hill for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 2.

The Pirates (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Killeen (Killeen, TX). The Kangaroos come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Killeen edged Rouse (Leander, TX), 61-48, in a non-league battle.
