San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), 42-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, San Benito upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX) to clash with the Bloodhounds in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Bloodhounds go into the bout with a record of 6-7. St. Joseph Academy won 88-54 in their recent non-league bout against San Perlita (San Perlita, TX)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Victoria East Titans (Victoria, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Juarez-Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record.
