Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA), 61-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lumpkin County upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign.

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 31. Creekview will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 54-42 league win over West Forsyth (Cumming, GA).
