Washington High School Basketball - Central Valley tipped by University
January 11, 2011: Spokane, WA 99216 The University Titans basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Central Valley Bears to 52 in the Titans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Titans now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mead for a 3A/4A Greater Spokane contest on Friday, January 14. University will confront a Panthers team coming off a 59-30 league win over Shadle Park (Spokane, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.
The Bears (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA). The Tigers enter the 3A/4A Greater Spokane contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Lewis & Clark was nudged by North Central (Spokane, WA), 67-64, in a league contest.
