In their next game, the Bearcats face the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 26. Wheeler will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Kougars enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 14-7 non-league loss to Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN).
The Wolves (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN). The Warriors enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Bishop Noll was crushed by Andrean (Merrillville, IN), 69-17, in a non-league bout.
