Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), 22-14 in a league bout.

With the victory, Huss upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Huskies host Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to play the Knights in a bout on Tuesday, February 2. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Warriors play the Ashbrook Green Wave (Gastonia, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 2. East Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Green Wave come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 28-11 league win over South Point (Belmont, NC).
