The Blue Ridge Barons topped the visiting Middleburg Academy basketball team by a final score of 89-73 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Barons face the Miller Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) in a VISAA Division 1 game, on Tuesday, January 17. Blue Ridge will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Mavericks enter the game with a 10-4 record after their 60-55 non-league win over Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA).
