The Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE) football defeated the host Parkview Christian Patriots (Lincoln, NE), 52-42 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Jets face the Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE) in a D2 District 1 (8 Man) bout, on Friday, September 27. Sterling will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 80-20 non-league win over Hampton (Hampton, NE).
