California High School Basketball - Valhalla succumbs to Coronado

December 15, 2011: El Cajon, CA 92019

The Coronado Islanders topped the host Valhalla Norsemen basketball team by a final score of 59-49 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Islanders (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Barons go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Bonita Vista was beaten by Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA), 61-60, in a non-league test.

The Norsemen now own a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hueneme for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Valhalla will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 75-34 non-league loss to St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-3.
