Williston-Elko Blue Devils (Williston, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks (Blackville, SC), 39-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Williston-Elko upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC) to play the Trojans in a A Region III bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Ridge Spring-Monetta lost 51-48 in their recent league bout against Blackville-Hilda (Blackville, SC)
