Arizona High School Basketball - Skyline can't hold off Alhambra

The Alhambra Lions basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Skyline Coyotes to 59 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Willow Canyon for a non-league contest on Friday, December 5. Alhambra will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 64-61 non-league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

The Coyotes (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Westview (Avondale, AZ). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
