Ohio High School Basketball - St. Ignatius overwhelms University School
January 8, 2017: Hunting Valley, OH 44022 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH) and the host University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH), saw St. Ignatius's basketball squad wallop University School by a count of 90-54.
With the victory, St. Ignatius upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host St. Edward (Lakewood, OH) to play the Eagles in a Freelance challenge on Friday, January 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-2.
Next up, the Preppers play the Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix (Willoughby, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. University School will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 78-40 league win over Geauga Grizzlies HomeSchool (Chagrin Falls, OH).
