Maine High School Basketball - Presque Isle crushes Fort Kent
February 7, 2012: Presque Isle, ME 04769 Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME), 73-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Presque Isle upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Caribou (Caribou, ME) to encounter the Vikings in a B East challenge on Friday, February 10. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Caribou won 57-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Houlton (Houlton, ME)
Next up, the Warriors battle the Limestone/Maine School of Science & Math Eagles (Limestone, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Fort Kent will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 52-45 non-league win over Madawaska (Madawaska, ME).
