Arizona High School Football - Westwood crushed by Mountain View
September 21, 2012: Mesa, AZ 85213 In Friday's league game, the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) football team smashed the visiting Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ), by a final score of 52-7.
The Toros (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Pioneers come into the I Section III game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Pinnacle overwhelmed Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ), 38-17, in a non-league game.
The Warriors now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mesa for a I Section III game on Friday, September 28. Westwood will battle a Jackrabbits team coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Dobson (Mesa, AZ). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 1-4.
