The Rosepine Eagles basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Many Tigers to 38 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunkie for a 2A District 3 contest on Monday, January 26. Rosepine will battle a Panthers team coming off a 65-25 league win over Oak Hill (Hineston, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-15.

The Tigers (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Mustangs enter the 2A District 3 contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Rapides ran past Oakdale (Oakdale, LA), 54-45, in a league contest.
