The Sweetwater Red Devils football squad scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Vincent Memorial Scots to 29 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Friday.

The Red Devils now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chula Vista for a Metro - South Bay battle on Friday, October 21. Sweetwater will play a Spartans squad coming off a 28-22 non-league win over El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-3.

Coming up next, the Scots play the Lutheran Knights (Chula Vista, CA) in a Manzanita battle, on Saturday, October 22. Vincent Memorial will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 44-15 league loss to Calipatria (Calipatria, CA).
