January 26, 2016: Downsville, LA 71234 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Downsville Demons (Downsville, LA) and the visiting Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs (Gibsland, LA), saw Downsville's basketball squad hold off Gibsland-Coleman by a tally of 55-51.
With the victory, Downsville improves its record to 3-22 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Summerfield (Summerfield, LA) to play the Rebels in a C District 1 challenge on Friday, January 29. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 22-1. Summerfield won 55-26 in their recent league challenge against New Living Word (Ruston, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the New Living Word Lions (Ruston, LA) in a C District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 29. Gibsland-Coleman will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 13-18 record after their 55-26 league loss to Summerfield (Summerfield, LA).
