The Leander Lions (Leander, TX) football felled the host Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX), 36-21 in Friday's league contest.

The Lions now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Dripping Springs for a 4A Region IV District 25 contest on Friday, October 25. Leander will play a Tigers squad coming off a 42-21 league loss to Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.
