South Carolina High School Basketball - Lower Richland can't hold off Sacred Heart Catholic
December 29, 2017: Hopkins, SC 29061 The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets basketball team (Hopkins, SC), was nudged 56-50 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Sacred Heart Catholic Cardinals (Anniston, AL)
The Cardinals now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Langston Hughes for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 30. Sacred Heart Catholic will battle a Panthers team coming off a 54-51 non-league win over Marshall (Richmond, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-3.
The Diamond Hornets (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Dreher (Columbia, SC). The Blue Devils come into the AAAA Region V battle with a 7-4 record.
