The Elmer L. Meyers Mohawks tipped the visiting Mid Valley Spartans basketball team by a final score of 43-40 in Wednesday's non-league game.

With the defeat, Mid Valley moves to 22-5 on the year. The Spartans travel to Elk Lake (Dimock, PA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 2. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 19-5. Elk Lake lost 50-30 in their recent non-league battle against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)
