Game Summary
The Warriors rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh to defeat Kennedy 10-9 yesterday in Woodhaven. Taylor Kennedy rallied from a 6-1 deficit and scored seven runs in the top of the sixth inning to take a 8-6 lead. Another run in the top of the seventh on a solo home run made it 9-6 before the dramatic bottom of the seventh inning where the Warriors scored four times to win the game. With one out the Warriors capitalized on three Kennedy walks and some clutch hitting to pull off their second victory in the Downriver League. Andrew Dayfiels, Zach Bennett and Toby Raymond knocked in runs before Tyler Thimmes won the game with a bases loaded single after Taylor Kennedy walked Zach Tallman intentionally to load the bases setting up thimmes game winner.
