Spectators at Monday's league match between the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) and the host Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT), witnessed Newtown's softball squad tip Bunnell by a count of 2-1.

The Nighthawks now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to New Milford for a Southwest - Colonial match on Wednesday, May 16.
