December 9, 2011: Grand Rapids, MI 49506 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Christian Eagles (Grand Rapids, MI) and the visiting South Christian Sailors (Grand Rapids, MI), saw Christian's basketball squad knock off South Christian by a score of 57-41.
With the victory, Christian improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lowell (Lowell, MI) to battle the Red Arrows in a Ottawa-Kent - White challenge on Friday, December 16. The Red Arrows come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Sailors battle the Ottawa Hills Bengals (Grand Rapids, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Gold challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. South Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
