In Wednesday's league outing, the Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA) basketball squad edged the host Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA), by a count of 51-48.

The Spartans (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Easton (Easton, PA). The Rovers go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record.

The Tigers now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Northern Lehigh for a Colonial - North challenge on Thursday, December 21. Northwestern Lehigh will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 39-15 league win over Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
