The Currituck County Knights thwarted the visiting First Flight Nighthawks football team by a count of 40-20 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Currituck County upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a 2A Northeastern Coastal outing on Friday, October 31. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 9-0. Northeastern won 56-36 in their recent league outing against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC)

With the loss, First Flight moves to 2-8 on the season. The Nighthawks host Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC) to face the Bears in a 2A Northeastern Coastal bout on Friday, October 31. The Bears enter the bout with a record of 2-7. Hertford County lost 56-36 in their recent league bout against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC)
