The Minneapolis Southwest Lakers routed the visiting Harding Knights basketball team by a final score of 71-50 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Lakers face the Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 9. Minneapolis Southwest will attempt to advance on its 2-17 season record. The Royals go into the test with a 24-2 record after their 85-82 non-league win over Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN).

The Knights now own a 4-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnson for a non-league test on Friday, March 12. Harding will clash with a Governors squad coming off a 92-67 non-league win over Minneapolis North (Minneapolis, MN). The Governors record now stands at 26-0.
