Pennsylvania High School Football - Union Area routed by Rochester
September 12, 2008: New Castle, PA 16101 The Union Area Scotties football team (New Castle, PA), was ripped 39-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA)
The Rams (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Beaver (Industry, PA). The Golden Beavers come into the WPIAL A Big Seven challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Western Beaver trounced Monaca (Monaca, PA), 18-0, in a league challenge.
The Scotties now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Side for a WPIAL A Big Seven challenge on Saturday, September 20. Union Area will meet a Rams team coming off a 27-21 league loss to Laurel (New Castle, PA). The Rams record now stands at 2-1.
