October 3, 2014: River Rouge, MI 48218 The River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI) football routed the visiting Consortium College Prep Cougars (Detroit, MI), 44-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Highland Park Polar Bears (Highland Park, MI) in a Michigan Metro bout, on Friday, October 10. River Rouge will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Polar Bears enter the bout with a 0-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Allen Academy (Detroit, MI).
The Cougars (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Kalkaska (Kalkaska, MI). The Blazers enter the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Kalkaska was crushed by Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI), 13-0, in a league bout.
