The Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC) football defeated the host Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC), 34-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 31. Carolina Forest will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.
