Iowa High School Football - Marion crushed by Solon

September 7, 2018: Solon, IA 52333

In Friday's non-league game, the Solon Spartans (Solon, IA) football team smashed the visiting Marion Indians (Marion, IA), by a final score of 47-10.

The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Assumption (Davenport, IA). The Knights come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Assumption was trounced by Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA), 48-0, in a non-league game.

The Indians now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Clear Creek-Amana for a non-league game on Friday, September 14. Marion will battle a Clippers team coming off a 38-0 non-league win over Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Clippers record now stands at 3-0.
