The Crescenta Valley Falcons (La Crescenta, CA) volleyball tipped the host Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Crescenta Valley upgrades its record to 22-10 on the year. The Falcons travel to Hoover (Glendale, CA) to play the Tornadoes in a Pacific outing on Tuesday, October 9. The Tornadoes go into the outing with a record of 3-15. Hoover lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Burbank (Burbank, CA)
