In Saturday's non-league outing, the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), by a margin of 72-45.

The Patriots (30-1) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 25-4 record. In their last outing, Heritage smashed South Central (Winterville, NC), 61-55, in a non-league outing.
