Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clarkston Angoras (Clarkston, GA), 73-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Southwest DeKalb upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Columbia (Decatur, GA) to play the Eagles in a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Friday, January 13. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Columbia won 68-57 in their recent league bout against Arabia Mountain (Lithonia, GA)

Next up, the Angoras play the Arabia Mountain (Lithonia, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 bout, on Friday, January 13. Clarkston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 68-57 league loss to Columbia (Decatur, GA).
