California High School Basketball - Golden Valley nudges Arvin
January 9, 2018: Bakersfield, CA 93307 Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA), 48-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Golden Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA) to clash with the Wolf Pack in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Ridgeview won 28-21 in their recent non-league bout against Taft (Taft, CA)
Next up, the Bears clash with the Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) in a bout, on Thursday, January 11. Arvin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 46-29 non-league loss to Lemoore (Lemoore, CA).
