The Manton Rangers basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Evart Wildcats to 38 in the Rangers league triumph on Thursday.

The Rangers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beal City for a Highland contest on Tuesday, January 10. Manton will meet a Aggies team coming off a 51-15 league win over Marion (Marion, MI). The Aggies record now stands at 5-2.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI) in a Highland bout, on Thursday, January 19. Evart will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
