The La Canada Spartans basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Mission Prep Royals to 29 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rancho Cucamonga for a non-league contest on Friday, December 28. La Canada will battle a Cougars team coming off a 66-48 non-league win over Bonita (La Verne, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-2.
