In Friday's league outing, the Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA), by a margin of 63-52.

The Lions (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against North Clayton (College Park, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, North Clayton defeated Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA), 62-52, in a league outing.

The Indians now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Business Engineering Science Tech for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 24.
