September 25, 2010: Winterset, IA 50273 Ankeny Hawks (Ankeny, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Hawks clash with the Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) in a Central Iowa Metro - Central match, on Tuesday, September 28. Ankeny will attempt to advance on its 17-2 season record. The Dragons come into the match with a 14-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Southeast Polk (Runnells, IA).
With the loss, Winterset drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to A-D-M (Adel, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a Raccoon River match on Tuesday, September 28. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 1-5.
