The Triton Hawks tipped the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans basketball team by a final score of 77-73 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Hawks face the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) in a Two Rivers 3A game, on Wednesday, January 27. Triton will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 5-11 record after their 64-58 league win over Cleveland (Clayton, NC).
