North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman tipped by Hough

In Friday's league game, the host Hough Huskies basketball squad scored a tight 73-71 triumph over the Lake Norman Wildcats.

In their next game, the Huskies face the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a I-Meck 4A match, on Tuesday, January 30. Hough will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 19-1 record after their 65-41 league win over Hopewell (Huntersville, NC).

With the defeat, Lake Norman moves to 11-8 on the year. The Wildcats host Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to face the Blue Devils in a I-Meck 4A match on Tuesday, January 30. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 2-16. Mooresville lost 66-40 in their recent league match against Zebulon B. Vance (Charlotte, NC)
