Roma Gladiators (Roma, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines (Alamo, TX), 39-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Roma upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, November 11. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Mercedes Tigers (Mercedes, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 11. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
