Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Chargers (Cedar Rapids, NE) and the visiting Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE), saw Riverside's basketball squad overcome Centura by a tally of 72-57.

With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Chargers host Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE) to confront the Red Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Red Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
