Texas High School Basketball - Carroll falls to Northwest

The Northwest Texans basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Carroll Dragons to 36 in the Texans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Texans now sport a 22-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Keller for a 5A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, January 28. Northwest will confront a Indians team coming off a 68-49 league win over Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Indians record now stands at 13-9.

The Dragons (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against Coppell (Coppell, TX). The Cowboys enter the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 22-5 record. In their last contest, Coppell ran past Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX), 57-47, in a league contest.
